I have never been a dancer before, but I have always been fascinated by how dancers can fly in the air and how they create movements with their dress, shadow, and shapes. Not only their motions are visually beautiful, but the emotions dancers also show through movements have always spoken to my heart.
I always wanted to photograph dancers, and last year I finally had the opportunity to do so, which left me with the taste of "Wanting more." I want to see more movement and capture those emotions through my lenses.
That is why I launched this project, and I am so passionate about it that I cannot wait to see what we can create together!
Project Details
We are looking for multiple dancers to photograph throughout this summer, and at the end of the project, we will have a gallery exhibition of our favorite images hosted at our studio.
To apply to be part of this project, make sure to answer the questionaries below this page.
If you are selected for the project, you will receive a gift voucher for your participation. The voucher includes the session with us at the studio, one high-resolution digital image, $200 credits towards any purchase, and being a part of this spontaneous project and the exhibition. The total value of $650.
Requirements to be considered are that you must be aged 13 or up and able to dance on pointe. However, we are not looking for perfection, we are looking for emotions! So if you feel you are qualified for this project, please get in touch with us!
(08/24/2022) Thanks to everyone’s participations and referrals, we have finally got to finish photographing all 20 dancers for our project!
It has been truly an amazing experience for us to work with those talented dancers you have seen throughout this summer. And we are so grateful that we got to achieve shooting 20 of them, because it was our ultimate goal from the beginning of this project.
